This is my 162nd post. Nothing significant or amazing about that number. Frankly, i think i spent the first year of blogging just trying to figure out who i was and where i wanted my blog to go. So, it is time to say good-bye to the plaid sparrow. I have been praying and trying to decide what i would do once i left here.
I loved making it; AA loved playing on it; naturally, I felt inspired to make even more.

Thursday, May 16, 2013. Addison turned 3 last Friday. 3! How is the possible? It seems like just yesterday that I held my firstborn in my arms for the very first time. I wanted to make her birthday ALL about her and to make her feel super special! We started our morning with Daddy going to get us a special pink donut with sprinkles.

Wednesday, April 24, 2013. Life as a one year old. He is walking around like a mad man and is showing his independence by refusing to hold our hand as we try to guide him. Here he is getting some quality time with dad grilling and playing legos. He is obsessed with knocking down large towers, but you have to be quick! Look how happy he is playing with his dad.

Når maven er tom - når malariafeberen raser i kroppen - når natten er mørk og kold - når troperegnen pisker ned - da er jeg alene og bange. Vi er begyndt på vores sidste måned på Bethania homes. Det bliver helt sikkert en mærkelig måned med mange besøg, ting der skal færdiggøres og afskedsfest. Vi skal blandt andet se Mount Kilimanjaro, Mwanza, Iringa, Serengeti, krateret i Morogoro, Arusha, Zanzibar og DAR.
Vi er nået hjem til Danmark, og har brugt de seneste dage på at vænne os til vinterkulde og julehygge. Vores tur hjem tog sin tid, og blev tilmed forsinket af noget snevejr hist og pist, men heldigvis nåede vi tilbage til Danmark før lufthavnene for alvor blev lukket. Et hvidt plastikjuletræ skaber stemningen udenfor Paragon.
Om lidt af hvert, sikkert ikke så meget. Er nogle temmelig gode chocolate chip cookies. De har lige et twist med det salt, der strøet ovenpå. En god og ret nem æblekage. Du kan bage den i en bradepande, men du kan også vælge at bage den i muffinsforme for at få en masse små gode æblekager.
