This blog will chronicle my journey from Toronto, Canada to Accra, Ghana. For 5 months, I will work as a Resource Mobilization Advisor with Pro-Link to support women and girls affected by HIVAIDS. As a Canadian Crossroads International volunteer, and funded by CIDA, I aim to build capacity in this Ghanaian organization, help to facilitate sustainable development for Pro-Link and the 60 communities across Ghana they serve, and create positive global change.

Heathers Journey

Friday, October 8, 2010. Heather did well at SL Regional- here she is doing Physical Therapy. She was transferred last week back to IMC. She likes it MUCH better! She is going against all odds. she is walking all over the place. her right arm is getting some movement back and she is as determined as ever. SO CUTE! And the best news for last. Heather is going home TOMORROW! .
