Wednesday, February 3, 2016. May 2014 Ophir Day Trip. We took a trip to the City of Ophir which is an old mining town south of Tooele. The road going into Ophir. The Superintendents house which the current tenants think is haunted. There are many little restored buildings that have been brought to the main part of town for people to look at.

AZ The Trek is a condensed version of the Handcart Trek the early Saints endured traveling to the Salt Lake Valley. The youth spent two nights and three days on the 10 mile trail, with only one change of clothes and no soap, deodorant.
