Our community mates, Michael and Susan, plus our friend Gerry, helped us with our final load last night, then gathered at the table with us for our first meal here, one that Michael and Susan lovingly prepared. As we broke hearty homemade bread and drank sweet wine and slurped minestrone, it felt like we were home. Any day I get to play roller derby. Photos by Rick Wheelock and Regularman.
