Sunday, October 5, 2014. Nancy and I took a couple of days to take a road trip and just spend time together to relax. This is the oaks restaurant which is up Ogden Canyon. Nancy has always wanted to go to Huntsville, so we went. It is a charming place with a lot of nice homes and beautiful vistas. She was a real natural. We enjoyed doing this together. We took a drive around the Idaho side of the Tetons. The colors are beginning to change, but will get more vibrant with a little more time.
Tuesday, August 11, 2015. In July we tried to pack a lot of fun things in for the kids, but not all of them merited their own blog post. On July 4, we headed out to the Disney Store at the Concord Mall about 60-90 minutes away from where we live. It was either this or watching a parade, and we thought that Lily might be more excited to see Disney Characters than classic cars drive down the street. Boy were we right! So we double dipped and went for lunch and. I was lucky enough to be sitting next to Lily.

Tuesday, July 21, 2015. Saturday Nate and I hiked Mount Nebo. It was a really wonderful hike, and it brought back a lot of memories of doing the same hike almost exactly nine years ago together with some of our good friends at BYU. I had forgotten just how scenic this trail is, and we hit it at just the right time to see all the wildflowers in full bloom.

And somewhere I fit in- not sure where, but mostly I get to sit back and enjoy the humorous dynamics of my family . When we arrived at the SLC airport, my mom realized that she had left her carry-on home. She had her passport and some other things, but her clothes, her essential make-up!
