Our learning time at home was more rushed, our afternoons busy, and this Mama was beat. Still, we had some highlights from the week. Our four-year-old joined us for Sketch Tuesday. My two older girls started their writing class with author and friend, Jennifer Trafton. I am a rugged silhouette.

Tuesday, April 22, 2014. Getting Ready for YBC 2014. The Olive Plants are still alive and well and birding! Two years ago, I was diagnosed with an auto-immune condition, MCTD, and have since been diagnosed with lupus as an overlap condition. It is the fairy slipper and is an endangered species here in Colorado. It was only about 3 inches tall.

Studies, we learned about their homes, life style, clothing, food and inventions. The girls made an Obelisk monument.
I stumbled across a free curriculum, where a Home Educating mother is putting together lesson plans and has sorted it out. she has done this for her own children to use, but kindly offered it free to Home-Schooling families.
