My latest series of blogs will be photos taken not so far from home. I do have to travel in order to take them; even if is on foot, bike or a short trip in the car. So they do qualify as travel photos! Monday, July 13, 2015. With the recent cold weather and a continuation of -8C frosts, there is plenty of ice around. The duck-pond down near the Pleasant Point Domain has frozen over. All the ducks have gone except 6 rather tame white geese.
Having recently retired and unpacked after 7 years away, I have discovered my boxes of colour slides taken in 1974 when we were in Papua New Guinea. As the slides are in perfect condition, my aim will be to copy them and post some online here and give some sort of narrative as well. Monday, January 27, 2014.

Sunday, June 26, 2011. Nothing too terribly interesting is going on. On July 2nd we travel to MD for a week in Ocean City with my Dad and his family. Should be interesting as Sarah has a cousin who is the same age as her and two toddlers in a rented house is a recipe for interesting times. Sarah is a total water baby though. No fear at all!
