So what has brought me here to the challenge of cycling 112 miles and climbing mountains? As I wait for the start I do wonder why Im back. By 920 we are at the base of the Marie Blanc, a 9km climb. The advice is to take it easy early on as the last 3km are said to be the toughest of the whole stage.
