Monday, 20 June 2011. I thought Siem Reap was beautiful, but the capital of Cambodia is a whole other level! Absolutely stunning buildings everywhere! Our first afternoon we didnt do much - just relaxed and got an early night. Good job we did, the next day was pretty emotionally draining! After China I flew to Vientiane, the capital of Laos. Monday, April 23, 2012. We made it back to DC without the slightest problem! I must say, it is glorious to be back. As we flew back into Reagan airport, the monuments seemed more beautiful than I remembered. I went to the grocery store and was completely overwhelmed by the produce selection, so I did what any girl would do, I bought one of everything. Signing off for now,. Thursday, May 19, 2011. From my Journal May 7, 2011. Pray mats pointed toward Mecca as the sun was just coming up signaling Morning Prayer. This went on for over an hour. Then people went home cleaned, cooked and ate their findings! Big day in village.
