Sunday, March 3, 2013. Lilly has been sick and needs constant holding. Sometimes I get discouraged by the fact that most of what I do is never finished. Laundry and dishes, scrubbing and sweeping, cooking and cleaning. I do it and it is undone immediately. I love him and relate to him in so many ways.

Thursday, June 23, 2011. The Lazy River would have been boring without Dad flipping everyone over once in a while. The Lazy River reminded me of summers in the creek. I remember getting on a tub and floating for hours till Mom would whistle for us to come home. It was fun! Friday, June 17, 2011. MN turned five years old! She wanted to decorate her own cake. There ended up being more frosting and sprinkles than cake, but it was super good! D and the girls at the Gentry Lookout. It was beautiful! D thinks .

Blake and I went to Luray, VA in the Shenandoah Valley for our anniversary. I have heard tall tales about the beauty of the Valley and upon seeing it for myself I discovered that they are not so tall. There are several natural cave systems in and around the Valley and we chose Luray. I am so glad we did. I think Blake wants his head on a pedestal someday. Wednesday, September 1, 2010.
