Wednesday, February 16, 2011. Skye started army crawling in October around 6 months and then REALLY crawling right before Christmas. Boy, was it ever fun keeping her out of the presents. She LOVED ripping the paper. Right after Christmas she started pulling up and cruising, standing up on her own just started a few weeks ago. She will let go and just look around to see if we are all watching her. I love it! Thursday, November 4, 2010. These are a few of my favorite things. My babies helping feed horses.

Monday, March 5, 2012. Last night, I gave the kids a bath in their bathroom. While my 9 year old daughter was still in the bath, I ran downstairs to grab something. She called down to me saying she was hearing some loud banging noises. As I went to investigate, I noticed multiple spots dripping from the dining room hallway ceiling.
Thursday, February 2, 2012. So January really flew by! So its been in the bottom of my knitting bag for a few weeks. I also started a sunnyside cardigan. It feels so good to get .
Trying to find little spots of saneness in a not-so-sane world. March has been a super busy month for us. We finished up some major house projects, and ended with birthday celebrations galore. Emily being her cute self, and Jack at a craft fair I went to with Rosy- there was a whole row of motorcycles- he was in heaven.

Has it really been 2 months since I posted last? This year I wanted to change and I think God heard me. This year has been a whirlwind. It has been a crazy wonderful change. I have been improving my health and fitness, going to church and now have two part-time jobs. There is also many other opportunities in the making. We celebrated two birthdays last week and here is our celebration of my youngest son.

I have been struggling with whether or not to continue this group i started at the beginning of the year. i had grand ideas of spreading love for all things handmade in this group. i heartily advocate and encourage handmade and diy creations and products. that is basically why i started the blog and flickr group. i still believe in this. Why do I love boxes? Is it because I have a ton of little things that have no place to be stored. Is it because I love the designs on the paper I buy. Yesterday Handmade Monsters set up a table at a local craft show. Although, not a terribly busy afternoon, a few monsters and bedbugs found new homes with families to love them. It was nice to see people smile.
