Not only does it bring with it the beginning of the fall season, which to me is the beginning of the holiday seasonbut it also brings with it the L.A. fair. The only thing about september is that it is normally scorching hot! And I think that this year is worse than any that weve experienced in the past. Just yesterday it was 106yikes! We miss our Daddy. Tuesday, October 18, 2011. This recipe comes from my friend Tricia and it is DELICIOUS! I think we ate all of it in about 2 days. 3 c apples, peeled and thinly sliced. Stir dry ingredients together in a bowl. In another bowl, cream by hand sugar, oil, eggs, and vanilla. Add dry ingredients to creamed mix, alternately with apples. Bake at 325 for 45 minutes until lightly browned.
