Since the children have grown up and added spouses and children of their own, things are just not the same around our house. Here it is the day after Christmas and we are still waiting to have all of our kids show up so we can exchange gifts.

The Lions Roar

Wednesday, December 9, 2009. The football players came to my room to read to my students. Spirit week was AWESOME! As you can tell our float had a toilet on top of it. Sunday, December 6, 2009. Teaching language to 6 th. Graders can be a bit of a challenge. It is something that most kids do not have a passion for and often find it boring. One of my students asked me the other day why we had to have language. He thought that everyone should be able to write or talk anyway they wanted to. I explained to him that using proper English.
