Tuesday, June 26, 2012. A few years ago, just after moving to Toquerville, we heard of some hikes in Zion that required rappelling. We got some ropes and harnesses and went through Spry Canyon. We got online and read about Pine Creek. And I was vowing never to return if I ever got out, then I was going through Heaps again. Two weeks ago we assembled the ultimate canyoneering team and set out for Imlay Canyon in Zion. Matthew, me, Ross, Dad, and Chris at West Rim trailhead.
Saturday, August 16, 2014. I have been really bad at blogging the past couple years, not that blogging has ever been a strength of mine! We have had a so many blessings this past year it is hard to list them all. First of all we added this cutie to our family! She gained 4 pounds the first month out of the hospital! Right Place, Right Time. We are both from Wyoming and met in 1st grade. We dated I think twice Senior yr of High School. Ed was smitten, Carla was not. Much later at 23 he tried the courting thing again and it worked. We have been married 42 years and counting with 4 girls and 2 boys. All grown and fairly normal.
