Vuosi ja kolme kuukautta kului nopeaan, liiankin nopeaan. Aluksi hieman tylsältä näyttänyt Sapporo tuntuu nyt erilaiselta, kun katujen kulmat, puistot, ravintolat ja kahvilat muistuttavat niissä vietetyistä riemukkaista hetkistä. Niistä taas saamme kiittää sitä pientä mutta upeaa joukkoa ihmisiä, joita olen jo pidemmän aikaa voinut kutsua ystäviksi. Japani ja japanilaiset eivät koskaan lakanneet hämmästyttämästä ja ilahduttamasta minua.
