Lori picked me up in Sioux Falls in my normal state of full on streaming allergy attack and some hours later poured me into my house, then shut the door and left me blessedly alone with a box of Puffs. I am a passionate purple quilter. I am passionate about purple, and passionate about quilting. Saturday, July 11, 2015. My Viking sewing machine was in for servicing. After we picked up my Viking from the shop I brought it home and set it up right away. I sewed down the binding with the Viking and it worked out great. I did use a bigger needle size on the Viking than I had on the Featherweight. I wonder if that helped the skipping problem? Links to this post.

Thursday, March 29, 2018. Taken from the front porch a few weeks ago, this photo shows most of the front briar patch. Last year, it grew higher than the fence. Recent rain, cold, and damp days allowed safe burning. I began by placing damp, flattened cardboard boxes on top to bend the briar stems over, pouring on 4 big bins of leaves. Leaves burn very hot igniting the cardboard. And an oven-like incinerating tunnel formed under the cardboard. Which took out a large percentage of the dry and green brush.CONTENT
