I went without expectation because last year was so great that I did not think this year could measure up. Some of the key friends that were there last year were not coming this year so I had my doubts about the fun scale.

Yes, I normally only eat pecan pie at the holidays, but it elicits childhood memories with each and every bite. It literally took me over a decade to get this one right.
