We were soo lucky to have Grandpa come and visit us. We managed to fit in so many fun things. Salmon fishing, Sabastian going both bike riding and motorbike riding with Grandpa. Dinner and just good old quality time. Thanks Grandpa it was a memorable few days we hope to repeat soon! Let the fun begin.

Sunday, August 14, 2011. Below is the patio and outdoor fireplace where Jeff cooked an incredible pork tenderloin for dinner. Johnny is launching off an incredible waterslide Jeff built for the pond. Jack is next going head first into the pond. Johnny decided that looked likefun. Jake was all smiles after his turn down the slide. This is the bottom portion of the slide where it levels off.

Friday, January 2, 2009. Our dearest kitty boy, Bastet, left us today around noon. His last few days were peaceful and quiet, even celebrating his 19th birthday just yesterday. He was the greatest! So wise, and loving, and protective even. What could be better? Always a pensive fellow! .

Thursday, January 04, 2007. Electric fence, the prequel. SO gramps bought a fence charger. We strung two lengths of wire, eighteen inches apart, one at the top of the existing board fence.
We were so lucky in Boston last year, we barely had a winter at all. This year is definitely different already, seeing our first snowfall begin yesterday.
