I took the name of this blog from a portion of the Georgia Digital Library called Vanishing Georgia. This is a digital repository of pictures of historical Georgia. Building on this idea I am going to use this Blog to hopefully stimulate the sharing of information about Vanishing Calhoun and Gordon County, Georgia. I added the Other Items of Historical Interest on December 27, 2007. This reflects my interest in a lot of things that I would like to call to other folks attention.
