First we started with only 2 colours, then we moved onto 3 colours to create a repeating pattern. Monday, 9 January 2017. Today in English we completed a speaking and listening activity.
When we lit the balloons with a lighter the rubber melted causing th eballoons to pop. We completed an experiment where we put pennies in a jar to see how many pennies it would take to over flo the jar filled to the brim with water. We went around the table to drop pennies in - we estimated that between 1 and 22 pennies. Unfortunately we were well off! All of the elements made a circuit when put together.
Great Gaddesden CoE VA School. Whole School Science Day Report. Recently the whole school took part in a science day full of fun, hands-on experiments. We came to school dressed as mad scientists and awards were given at the end of the day for the person in each year group who had been the most inquisitive scientist.
School House Garden - June 2016. An update from the Gardening Club is below. It really is looking fabulous out there! As we come to the end of this academic year, we are starting to think about how we can make better use of the school garden across the curriculum in the next academic year - watch this space! A visit from the police! Today children in Nursery and Reception had some very special visitors - some police officers! They brought their police car and police van into the playground to support our learning this half term about people who help us. We got to dress up in some police uniforms, sit in the police cars and use police tape to tape off an area of the playground!
