They had catered BBQ from Goodwood, face painting, balloon animals, bubble balls you could run inside, bounce houses galore, a ferris wheel, a train, trampolines, pony rides, a petting zoo and a fireworks show at the end all for free! He was put on a team with a really good friend and was super happy about that. He has gotten better and wants to play in the fall. I think this might be his sport of choice over the next few years. He is pretty naturally athletic, we feel like he will improve with time. It was a sunny day so there was lots of squinting going on. But they are totally cute! With turning eight Brady.

Wednesday, July 27, 2011. So, we went to Southern CA on July 4th for a little family vacay and reunion with the Mathews. Chris and I took the kids to Oceanside for a couple days before the reunion to visit the San Diego zoo. It was our first visit to the zoo and it was great! We met up with an old college roommate of mine and she hooked us up! Jackson was so cute and wanted to pose with every statue. He enjoyed all the animals and learned some new words at the zoo too.

We have had a fun Halloween this year. We have had lots of opportunities to show off our Halloween costumes. We went to a carnival at Mirabelli, we went Trick or Treating at the middle school, the girls had parties at school, and we had our ward Trunk or Treat. It has been quite the week. A big thanks to Grandma Joy for the fantastic costumes. The ladies all decked out. The fam all dressed up. Big 2 year old girl.
