Thursday, September 4, 2014. Update to Backups via iSCSI. Originally I thought that it might be good to do an iSCSI backup via a target share from the Synology, to ESXi, and share the HDD to the windows machine as a local drive. Unfortunately I had issues with this configuration. Im not quite sure why. So instead, I believe it is probably better to do it this way anyway, I did the iSCSI backup via the Windows box- obviously targeted at the Synology as before.
