This is my take on working as a librarian. Wednesday, November 11, 2015. A patron is out to get me. My branch has been open for 2 years, it will be 3 in February 2016. A male patron who has been frequenting the branch for almost a year has decided that he wants me fired. Four weeks ago the scenario above occurred.
Wednesday, April 26, 2017. I am currently in my truck waiting for my mom to finish with her mental health appointment. I got a call a few minutes ago from her therapist offering a program 3 times a week that will pick her up and have her socialize with folks other than me and Pooka, for pennies! I had to get this out my system! Saturday, March 18, 2017. I like my new job. It is stressful at times, but I like what I do. My weight is back on the downward spiral I was on.
The never ending quest to find the other shoe. Tuesday, March 10, 2015. Half my stuff is packed. the other half is in disarray. I have no job interviews yet.
The good, bad and inbetween. I cried because sometimes being a single mom sucks. I cried because God works in his own time and not mine. I cried because sometimes adulting is way too much pressure. I started a new job on January 27th.
