Sunday, January 1, 2012. Farewell and Following Seas. After 28 years, it is finally time to say goodbye to Navy life. Its been interesting, to say the least. There have been many good times, lots of tears, but always sweet reunions. Im not sure I know what its like to have my husband home every night, but Im ready to find out. For Such a Time as This. Friday, July 3, 2009. We are enjoying the first day of our three day weekend. We ran a ton of errands this morning, so now we can get some things done at home and spend the rest of the weekend with family and friends. We are making progress on our paperwork. I think the only thing we have left for our homestudy. Is our medical reports which will be done in the next 10 days or so. We went yesterday to be fingerprinted. There was a LOT of misunderstanding.
