BRCA and Choosing LIFE! February 26, 2012 in updates. Today is the two year anniversary of my mastectomies and start of my reconstruction. So what is it like now? I have little pec strength. My chest muscles contract and feel tight.
That this happened to such a beautiful person,. On why this happened to her at such a young age, overwhelming. That she and her family had to undergo so much pain, and so many others but words do not adequately describe them.

Monday, October 1, 2012. I love the cooler weather, the pumpkin taste in everything around, and just fall in general. This October is especially meaningful as it makes one year since I discovered I carry the BRCA 1 gene. Kind of ironic that I found out during Breast Cancer Awareness month.
