Conditions were tough for photography yesterday. The wind blowing strong and in a bad direction causing the birds to be going away most of the time. I gave up early and called it a day. We are in a stretch of cloudy days, seems like the sun has vanished. At least we are not getting a lot of heavy rain. Both dams have a gate or two open still. The water levels finally receding.

Wednesday, September 08, 2010. I went down to Perdido Key for the Labor day week end and added tuesday so I would not have to deal with traffic driving home. The beach was absolutely gorgeous and I had it all to myself on Tuesday. This is in the Gulf Islands National Seashore at the tip of the key. That is a pretty little cay with a little beach to party on. I said it is called the Sunset Grill for a reason, the back faces west. Yes folks it is paradise.
