Sunday, 22 December 2013. OK, so in the back part of 2013 I became an ex-blogger. Why? Two words - the Birmingham Beer Bash. I had to recuperate on East European lager for a looonnng time and subsequently forgot to start blogging again. Then again, maybe it was a blessing all round. Which still crushes the competition.
Another two new entries this year.
335 beers in 335 days. From the start of the blog to my wedding day. At the moment I have 151 beers left to try and less than 36 days in which to drink them. Wedding planning is reaching a whole new level, dwindling funds are being directed towards name cards and glass hire. So, I may be on track to lose the challenge. Im currently drinking this very old bottle of Thornbridge Saint Petersburg Imperial Stout. The older recipe bottle at 7.7, before it got reduced to 7.4. thanks government! It went out of date in 2010 so Im going to guess its maybe 78yrs old now. Its aged amazingly in my opinion! People dont want less beer. No one wants a 33cl bottle of Kolsch!
