Photography from Yorkshire and Beyond. Recently Steve posted some shots from a visit to Cardiff. It reminded me to dig out some shots from a trip I took down there a fair while ago. No tables and chairs available? Lets plonk ourselves down right here for a bite to eat. Lots of folks just milling around, waiting for people, eating and even sleeping.

But I am going to try again. I think I am going to need it.

I have learned tons from all of you and have made tons of new friends! Also thanks for all of the support I received and all of you loyal followers. I look forward to another year of fun with all of you and hopefully a few new people.

A Slice of Life 2012. After today, the holidays plus our 2012 photo challenge has come to an end. I want to thank everyone for all the kind comments through out the year.

To those of you from the PET 2012 Photo Walk who may still be following this blog, congrats on completing as much of the year as you were able to. If you managed the entire year, that is just awesome! As for me, well our family has had to cope with some very serious challenges this year and I simply could not keep up. But, fair warning! Here s a shot I took looking out from the hotelroom window while we were in San Francisco. It is of the Bay Bridge and Treasure Island but in the background you can see the Oakland skyline. I find this more to my liking. I had to go .

A major part of my spare time is spent weaving with reed and I have been using more and more natural and found objects. I was happy to catch one on the wing and all the splashes of water. Cropped and slight adjustment in layers.
