Saturday, May 25, 2013. I discovered this snippet of a post that I wrote in March 2011 and saved as unpublished draft. I dont know what inspired this or even where I was going with it, but I like it. It was true three years ago, and its true today. Every once in a while I will write a piece here for my blog and then save it as a draft for months, and this case years, before I rediscover it and finally decide to post it. Wow, what an experience my first festival of trees was! My Girl Scout troop decided to donate a tree for the festival of trees this year. They usually raise about 1 million dollars! My co-leader had done 2 trees previously for the festival in earlier years and was definitly the person to make it all happen! It was all very exciting and a great experience overall! .

Saturday, August 23, 2014. Since the last post in 2011, a lot has happened. We moved into our home. We made tons of friends! McKenzie attended school there for 2nd-4th grade, Owen attended school Kindergarten-2nd grades and Zoey went to preschool. I played LOTS of volleyball, worked at a daycare and became the manager. Matt worked and started taking classes and worked towards his bachelor degree. McKenzie played softball and learned a lot.
