I am not sure if it is just me alone, or if book lovers out there have the same liking, I like hearing the crisp sound of flipping a new book, but this will not be possible with ebooks.Moreover, researches have shown that having to stare at a computer screen for long periods of time is detrimental to our eyes. Saturday, November 6, 2010. This week saw the beginning of the group presentations. The 3 presentations this week were on cosmetic surgery, cybercrime, and water. Next, I found the presentaiton on Technology and Crime to be highly entertaining. It was a good eye-opener and the segment on the different cybercrimes to look out for was particularly interesting. Weekly Muse on Technology and World Change. EBooks are the current hit in the 21st century because they are deemed to revolutionize the. Way people read, or so they say. Off my mind, there are many benefits that I can think of. 1 - No more lugging of huge thick and heavy books. 2 - No more cutting down of forests to print books, also leads to the reduction for recycling of paper.
