Imaginary Landscape, San Jose, CA. We all have to write an artists statement from time to time. Most photographers hate this part of the artistic process. We are visual artists, not writers, which is why we have cameras and communicate with images. I thought I might share how I approach this oft dreaded task. What type of day was it? However, my lovely wife did get it for me for my birthday. The quality is very good. It was printed by lulu. It is not printed as a photo book. As a result, the vibrancy of the images is not what it would be if printed as a photo book.
All photos are but a point in time in a continually changing world. I have mostly been documenting events, activities, etc. here at Homewood so far this year. As of now, I have photographed 6 different activities. That resulted in over 800 pictures that I made before editing the number down to deliver. As the weather warms up I hope to see my photography shift to outside things and result in more images for this blog.
