Wednesday, March 4, 2015. Chase have brought the best and brightest students from 3rd-5th grades to create a Science Club. Students learn about the scientific method, create and execute experiments, and use their reasoning skills to deduct the hows and whys of different topics. In other words, they have a BLAST! Let the creativity begin! Once they were built, the teams each got 3 launches. The catapult that launched a puff ball the farthest wins! .

Thursday, September 10, 2015. The CHES library makerspace is a unique place that gives students the opportunity to design their own learning experiences. Depending on the central focus, stations may change from grade level to grade level. I have discovered that students have stories they want to tell and making in the library is a path to those stories. I want to share some of those stories with you. Small moments like these happen everyday.
