Sunday, August 16, 2015. In Twin Bridges yesterday and fishing the Jefferson River. They have a restriction on fishing between 200 pm and midnight, so I was on the river by 600 am. The pelicans and Sandhills didnt appreciate the early intrusion. A few moments later on two does with fawns strolled across the river. I caught a few whitefish of less than notable size but it was fun trying to match the insects they were feeding on. This is the Gallatin 40 miles north of West Yellowstone. Back in the USSA.
