Pasaban los años y a medida que la monja Sor Severa de Santo Domingo solía pasar más tiempo ante el Cristo, mayor era su devoción, mayor su pena y más grande la fe que profesaba al hijo de Dios. Una noche ululaba el viento, se metía por las rendijas, por el portillo sin vidrio ni madera, calaba hasta los huesos viejos y cansados de la monja. El aire azotaba la lluvia y la noche se hacía insoportable. Arreció el vendaval. Y lo insólito de esta historia ocurr.
