Sunday, June 28, 2015. A Cottontail rescue that ended in tragedy . Nearly a month ago, my father rescued two little cottontail rabbits from one of our dogs, I am guessing they were about 3 days old. We searched underneath the trees for a possible nest and didnt find anything so we assumed that probably these little guys were kidnapped by a crow or some other animal.
