My wonderful husband of 15 years was diagnosed with Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency in 2006. The news was devastating but some how we managed to get beyond the initial shock! We hope this blog will be useful and informative for others who may not know they have Alpha-1 or have been recently diagnosed. While also showing that life can go on in a relatively normal fashion. Research is making progress and there is hope. We are truly blessed with 5 children, 18 grandchildren, and one loving family.CONTENT
