We spent 25 plus years there, growing to love the country and Filipino people. The recent tragedy of typhoon Yolanda has left many in need of help. My husband now pastors Lifepoint Baptist Church in San Angelo, Texas. We, as a church will be collecting funds to help with the tremendous need these islands will need help with. We are officially resigning as BBFI. Our decision to do so did not come lightly. We love the Philippines and our work that we do there. It was our plan to stay there as long as we lived. God, however, had other plans. We will be taking leadership of Lifepoint. Needless to say, it will be very hard to leave our loved ones in the Philippines. We will always have a special place in our hearts for Filipinos. We want to give a spec.

Monday, June 28, 2010. Not much to write about. Just thought I would write a post on this poor neglected blog. We are out of school for the summer and are enjoying it very much.
