Well almost a year has passed since we first arrived in Darwin, the actual date 4th June. We arrived after a 3. 30am start from Cape Don about 100nm north of Darwin. We looked set for a wonderful ride into Darwin or so we thought. The stars sparkled in the still waters of Popham bay as we prepared to set off. Thursday, March 17, 2011. After two weeks, it is time for Maia and I to return home. Here are a few images from our last days. What awaits us each morning at the clinic. Maia works taking blood pressures and weights. Maia with some of her amigos. Maia teaching the children to count en ingles. A mom and a daughter seen by me at the clinic. Both had fever, right ear pain, and a very infected.

Wednesday, February 27, 2008. Powerful People are Poor in Spirit. As we begin the process of reflecting on the Beatitudes as the measuring stick for those who are being qualified to have authority on earth as it is in heaven, the first thing to notice is the order in which they are given.
