Saturday, March 3, 2018. This itinerary very closely resembles the Butterflies and Birds tour I led with Jim Brock a few years ago, only covering the highlands from Cusco and then the Amazon-facing slopes down the very base of the Andes in the Cosñipata Valley. Our first stop was near Cusco at Lago Huacarpay, a large wetland complex surrounded by farming communities and ancient Inca ruins. This is a great place to see Plumbeous Rail walking out in the open.

Wednesday, January 24, 2018. From the Gardens of Cheesecake Farms. I cut them for arrangements. Knock Outs were a dream come true! Then, 2 or 3 years ago, I started noticing that they were getting spindly.
Celoisa is a flowering plant. That is composed of Kimono and Pagoda series. Comes in cherry red, orange and scarlet. Considered dwarf and grow well under warm and sunny conditions. The Pagoda series which comes from gold, orange and red. Usually Pagoda series developed in pot culture. Bella zinnia - ornamental plant.
