В самом начале выпускает парочкулинейных листьев, и следом зацветает наклоненными белыми звоночками. По преданию, эти растения появились тогда, когда забавные ямщицкие спевы а так же перезвоны колоколов под дугой оглашали окрестности, и взросли колокольцы собственно там, где упали на дорогу звоны колокольчиков.
