Welcome to Year One at Al Yasmina Academy. Our classes are Sparrows, Larks, Cuckoos, Doves and Robins. We will use this space to share a selection of what is happening in Year One. Tuesday, 3 January 2017. We finished of last term with a mighty arrrghhh! We transformed into pirates for the day. We had so much fun and made a million memories. During the day our teachers had lots of pirate battles and we tied up some unsuspecting visitors to pirate day. Thursday, 15 December 2016.

Sunday, October 20, 2013. And drinks at the local Irish pub when we were done at the park. It seems as if any event with Peace Corps ends at the Irish pub. a lot of expats can be found there as well. Wednesday, July 17, 2013. As you might be able to guess, my mood is significantly better and more fruitful with the weather. Growing up in a warm environment and experiencing my first real winter in a long time made me realize how difficult it is for me to survive wintertime.
