The birth of our first niece! She is now a year old. Our apartment flooded in a freaky flash storm. I finished up my Montessori teacher education training! Adam got a promotion and has been able to do a bit of international travel for work - I got to tag along for the second Japan trip. Now that the crazy busy summer.

And now to sum up a lot of details - door after door after door has flung open. We are in the process of buying a house around the corner from my parents and siblings. A few minutes with the Johnson family. After we got home from the 4th of July festivities on Whidbey Island, we decided it was time for some summer haircuts! After they were done, they changed into swimsuits so they could walk around and explore Lake Oswego a little bit, on their way to a fountain. Daddy did a great job of getting them to pose for photos along the way. Interpretive poses inspired by the sculpture.
