Hello everyone, it s time to share another guest post over at Elizabeth Craft Designs. For today s post, I ve created two love themed cards that can be used for example for Mother s Day. What I did, is I created only one background piece with heat embossing and inking technique and with a clever trick I got two cards out of just one background piece.
Sunday, May 17, 2015. and lots of ink! Happy Sunday my creative loves. Today I have a layout to share that I had so much fun creating. It is full of color, stamping, and mixed media goodness. I love all the texture throughout as well. I started with a 12 x 12 piece of paper that I cut down to 11 x 8. I knew I was using one of the Project Life page protectors from the awesome variety pack. The paper line I am using is Basic Grey Serenade. You see that I just stamped the Honeycomb over.
Wednesday, August 12, 2015. Snip the end and made a hoop on the back. I wanted to make something completely handmade without any store bought bezels or molds. Using some leftover resin paper from a previous project and some 18 copper gauge aluminum craft wire I created a dainty dragonfly. The directions to the resin paper are here. Tuesday, May 27, 2014. Surround Yourself with Friends- A Mixed Media Canvas. Today I have a canvas project tutorial to share with you. This is one of my personal favorite projects- it was fun and easy to do. Lets get started! To begin, I used an 8 x 10 canvas board covered with a light coat of gesso. I used several shades of blue paint including the one in the kit and a brayer to lightly spread the paint around.
