Tuesday, October 7, 2014. Going to the sand dunes has been on our summer bucket list for the last couple years. We ran out of time to go there last year, so going this year was a must. And we enjoyed ourselves there. It is pretty simple reall.
Well 2013 was kind of a doozy. There was a morning in June, right in the middle, that just about exemplifies it. The ground started to shake, enough to wake the remaining sleepers in the house. And a mouse ran across my kitchen floor. I am a pretty calm person, but hello adrenaline! My heart was racing and I was more than a little awake.
Back in October, when Samuel turned 8, he became a Cub Scout. The nonsense started with the uniform. I was told by the leader that Samuel only needed the shirt, pack badges, neckerchief and slide, that did not go over too well with Doug.
Saturday, April 20, 2013. We had a fun Spring Break adventure of camping down the Oregon Coast. Joshua has been studying about Lewis and Clark this year at school, so we made quite a few Lewis and Clark stops along our adventure. Jason and I at the Astoria Column.
