The first one came from an old garden belonging to the family of my best friend on Whidbey Island. They were kind enough to give me many cuttings. Tuesday, December 5th, 2006. It was little more than a week ago I was concerned about new growth. ALL of the red leaves are now newer growth. Sunday, November 26th, 2006.
