Foothill Elementary Second Grade. Tuesday, September 20, 2011. Grade is delighted to report that our workshop schedule is beginning to work very nicely. I am excited to do our 6 week testing next week and see how much progress our students have made, especially in reading fluency. The effort on everyones part has been obvious. I think that we will see once again that hard work pays off! In our reading Unit, we are beginning the story Come Back Jack. Saxon Math is continuing at a lesson a day. Social S.CONTENT

Monday, May 21, 2012. From Grieving and Resting . I have only shared the following with a hand full of people. When I was at the Mayo Clinic in March, three doctors thought I had a rare disease that has a horrible prognosis. I felt as if I was giving life to this disease if I told anyone about it. Not many days after hearing the good news, I emotionally crumbled.
