Saturday, February 24, 2018. Miles Away from The Happiest Place on Earth. The wedding was lovely, the bride was beautiful, and the food and DJ were okay. The weather was beyond cold. Is tired, hungry, in need of the potty, and pissed off. Except for the one kid.
Meandering in Michigan, Seeking Wildflowers. Thursday, March 1, 2018. Aman Park in Ottawa County Michigan February 27 2018. My last post was in the Fall, with pretty pictures and beautiful colors. Weather-wise it was a fine day for a walk in the park with my sister. In about two months time this place will be covered with blooming trillium and Virginia Bluebells, and so many more colorful plants. At times it was difficult to find the trail.
Sober since April 6, 2006. Monday, April 21, 2008. And this too shall pass. After a lovely weekend, it was time to make the three-hour drive back home. I know this drive well. I take the same familiar route almost every weekend. I headed out west on a beautiful day. Puffy, white clouds floated through the blue sky. There was a hint of rain on the horizon ahead. The hint of rain showers gave way to a storm. The storm was heading my way, and I was heading its way. We would soon meet on the road.
