Books by Mary Weymark Goss.
The adventures of two artists who dream of making books. Tuesday, September 1, 2009. They gather together their art and writing. It turns out that Mary has many years of writing that she has neglected to edit. Numerous uncatalogued drawings turn up, as well. They drink many cups of coffee, and eat a lot of peanut butter. Wednesday, June 17, 2009. Desean flies in from Vancouver.
This experiment is a coloured version of the Black on White sketch, BonW11. I wanted to try white outlining as a way to expand the line techniques for a projected large work. I started with a complete drawing, and kept redrawing it with whatever changes came into my head. which is basically what animation is. Thursday, April 14, 2011. 1997, 1996, 1995. Black on White Sketchbook; gel pen on hardcover no.
Monday, January 4, 1999. The cosmic spiral becomes appropriate, a birthing nebula. But are these beings improving? I dare not sit down today, but pace the studio, looking from one painting to the other. As I paint, I am partly amused, somewhat repelled.
