My thoughts on life, travel, books, movies, oh, and medical school. It has been a while since my last post. The thoughts are just a jumbled mess. I have been on vaction since last Sunday, lounging at the beach and touring the historic districts of Charleston and Savannah. Tomorrow, I return home, and I hope I will be able to write something worth reading. Until then, may I recommend. Series books available in the store, while I have to order a copy of An Area of Darkness.

The days slip by, most busily yet the others lazily, and the thoughts etched or sketched onto the mental blackboard collect back into an idly sitting chalk. the days unwritten seem unpassed, the time passed seems unwritable, the future full of countless quiet words from which i may only select one set, with no revision. Friday, July 1, 2011. Wednesday, April 6, 2011. Anyone with children has been there, sitting with a bored child in church. A recipe for a long service. I love listening to stories of my grandchildren in church. I smile knowing they are making my son pay for his raising. Nothing we told her satisfied her.

I get bored with it. I try to challenge myself with speed, distance, terrain. Then I ask myself, why? And answer, to be healthier. To be able to run and play and laugh and compete all at once and better than I can now. The answer has only the most minor effect on my mindset.
