This blog began as the documentary of the renovation of a blighted home in the historic Treme neighborhood of New Orleans. The home was destroyed during hurricane Katrina but the entire city is now under renovation as we rebuild. Saturday, September 29, 2007. It was torn down on Sept. 27th, 2007 after sitting vacant for more than 15 years.

For those of you here looking for details about the information I unearthed using the pump station logs for the July 22, 2017 and August 5, 2017 New Orleans floods, I have posted them to Facebook.
